Kentucky Blue Grass End Tables

Lately I have been SO consumed in projects that I completely neglected my blog.
Sorry! But it is okay, I'm back and I can't wait to share with you this project I just finished for a beach house in Top Sail.
After you see how adorable they turned out and the amazing new paint color I found I think I'll be forgiven ;)

Recently I sold our computer desk because the hubby and I decided we wanted to build our own.
That is when I met Jan, she bought our desk then showed me images of some night stands she needed re done.
Let me just tell you, I was in LOVE. I wanted her end tables haha!
They turned out soo cute and look perfect in her Beach house with our old desk!

Now for some pictures:

How cute are the legs on this beauty?!

Can you believe what some paint can do?
I wanted to keep these for myself! haha!

I decided to do more distressing than usual because I loved the contrast of the blue against the orange colored wood. & the distressing was perfect for a beach house!

I love all the feminine lines that these nightstands have to offer, they are so dainty and pretty!

I decided to keep the hardware just as I got them because they matched perfectly!

I can just imagine how cute they are going to look when Jan gets her whole room done,
they are going to be so fun to dress up with accessories!

What do you think about the bold color choice?
I love her color pallet for the room, white, coral, & this lovely shade of blue.
For all you wondering, this paint color is called Kentucky Blue Grass and can be found at Walmart by the brand Color Place.
For some reason I love their paint! It seems to go on way better than Valspar or any other paint I have tried.
What are your thoughts on the nightstands?
Have you fallen in love with any great new colors lately?

If you have been up to any projects I would love to seem them! Link them up to my face book page here.
Can't wait to hear from you!
